Technology & Equipment
We constantly bring in new technology and equipment to provide ever better service and treatment to our patients. The new digital technologies and equipment allows to bring our prosthodontics to the next level.
Intra Oral Scanning
An intraoral scanner is a device that is used to capture a direct optical impression. The scanner projects a light source onto the area to be scanned. The images are captured by imaging sensors and are processed by scanning software, which then produces a 3D surface model. This process provides a much faster and more comfortable experience for our patients.
CAD-CAM Design & Milling
Digital dental milling units take the digital impressions and designs created with CAD to grind or mill precise restorations quickly. This allows seamless integration with CAD software and intraoral scanning solutions. With this, we can acquire images and create precision restorations the exact and perfect way.
Computer-Guided Dental Implants
Originally developed for neurosurgery, computer-guided surgery provides prosthodontists with several advantages, helping them achieve predictable and safe implant placements. Computer-guided dental implants uses the images from the patient’s cone beam CT scan to precisely plan implant treatment. Guided surgery software allows you to visualize and manipulate images of the patient’s jawbone and the surrounding tissue, giving you the opportunity to plan the most accurate approach to treatment. Cone beam CT images clearly show the available bone, the thickness of soft tissues, vital structures, and the root anatomy and proximity of adjacent teeth.
